Part-Time Positions:

  • Membership & Welcome Desk Staff
    • Position Summary: Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of the lobby area.

      Essential Functions:

      1. Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the facility and on the phone, contributing to member retention. Interviews and/or tours prospective members; sells memberships.

      2. Understands Daxko procedures, refreshes him/herself in the training section as needed. Enters all data carefully and accurately.

      3. Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and to the YMCA.

      4. Check membership cards/other passes, answer phones, and helps answer questions.

      5. Applies all YMCA policies dealing with member services using discretion as needed.

      6. Reports on time for all shifts and adheres to dress code.

      7. Be visible at all times to incoming guests and have the area secured by another staff when leaving the area.

      8. All other duties assigned by the Member Engagement Specialist.

      Personal Growth: Pursues self-development that enhances job performance. Demonstrates an openness to change, and seeks opportunities in the change process. Accurately assesses personal feelings, strengths and limitations and how they impact relationships. Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well; uses best practices and demonstrates up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology.


      1. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.

      2. Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.

      3. Previous customer service, sales or related experience.

      4. Basic knowledge of computers.

  • Lifeguards

    Accepting applicants aged 15 and over.
    Must be lifeguard certified. (Ask us about our certification program!)
