We need your help... Your Cass County Family Y is looking for adults, possibly seniors interested in volunteering their time. Please contact the YMCA for a list of volunteer opportunities.

 

The Cass County Family Y is available for group rentals such as parties, group lock-ins (overnights), and meetings of all sizes. To schedule a rental or for more information, call the YMCA at 753-5141.


 

The Heritage Club of the Cass County Family Y invites you to join a special group of friends who believe in the mission of the Y. Members of this group are committed to preserving the heritage of the Y for years to come. They know first hand how the Cass County Family Y has affected the lives of young people and families of our surrounding area. Our community is a better place thanks to the Y and your past interest and support.

Contributions to the Y's Endowment Fund create an everlasting legacy to future generations.

The Cass County Family Y believes in building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. We strive to provide facilities and programs that can benefit all members of the surrounding community by strengthening both mind and body. The following policies, procedures, and guidelines are in place to maintain the integrity of the YMCA and its many programs. All members and guests are asked to comply with these expectations. Any individual who fails to follow these policies, procedures, and guidelines may be asked to forfeit their membership or guest status.

The Cass County Family YMCA reserves the right to check any current member or prospective member's name against any Sexual Offender registry and to deny membership to any individual whose name appears on the registry. This individual will also not be permitted to participate as a volunteer, a participant, or employee of the Cass County Family YMCA.

  1. Membership cards and PIN numbers will be issued to all members over the age of 8 years. PIN numbers are issued to new members every Monday. The PIN number will allow access to the facility through our Hand Key Entry System. Each member must be individually enrolled in the system in order to be recognized as a member. Every member of the Cass County Family Y must use the Hand Key Entry System or show their membership card upon entry into the building.
  2. All members and guests must adhere to facility age requirements:
    • Track - 13 years and older (unless directly supervised by an adult)
    • Racquetball Courts - 13 years and older (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian)
    • Whirlpool - 18 years and older (13-17 years old with a parent or guardian)
    • Weight Room / Cardio Center - 18 years and older (13-17 years old must be a member and complete a Nautilus Orientation)
    • Pool - 7 years and under must be accompanied by an adult
    • Youth Activity Center - 8 years through High School and families. 7 years and under must be accompanied by an adult
    • Locker Rooms - The adult locker rooms; 18 years and older.  The youth locker rooms are available for all ages.  Children under the age of 6 can be escorted by an adult female through the girls locker room or by an adult male through the boys locker room.
  3. Y-Attire: Shoes and shirt must be worn in the Cass County Family Y building. Court shoes must be worn in the Gym, and on the Racquetball/Walleyball courts. Swimwear is not permitted beyond the pool/locker room area.
  4. The Cass County Family Y is a SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT.
  5. Food and Drink (other than water) are only permitted in the hallway, vending areas, and activity center.
  6. Foul language will not be permitted in any area of the facility nor during any CCFY special event or program. Any violator of this policy will not be allowed to stay in the facility or attend the Y program.
  7. Equipment rental: Equipment is available at the front desk for the Youth Activity Center, and for both Racquetball and Walleyball. A personal item must be left with the front desk as collateral while the equipment is in use.
  8. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  9. All Y members and visitors are expected to comply with the rules posted for the pool area and the weight room/cardio center.
  10. The Y will close Monday through Friday at 9:00pm to all members and guests under the age of 18. An exception will be made for Teen Nights or special events.
  11. The McTaggart Activity Center will close Monday through Friday at 8:00pm.
